Firmware updates
FLARM utilises a rolling update process that requires an annual update. The update can be carried out at any time before the end of the one-year period. With this approach, the FLARM update can be easily combined with the aircraft’s annual maintenance programme. This also takes into account the maintenance requirements of a safety-relevant system.
